This is one calculator you weren't allowed to use while you were in the classroom. This one is used to estimate the amount of power that you are getting out of your wild ride. There are just a few easy steps that you have to do to come up with the horsepower at the rear wheels. First, insert your vehicles total weight with you in it. (There are many car related web sites that have your vehicles weight posted on them.) Second, insert the E.T. (elapsed time). This is the time that it takes you and your wild ride to travel the distance of 1/4 mile. Third, insert the Trap Speed, which is the MPH/speed that you reached when you passed the 1/4 mile finish line mark. Last step. Click on the "rev it up" button to see how much power your wild ride produces! So now you know how much power you have, see how you compare to these other wild cars and trucks. (coming soon!)
